1, 2, 3 little Indians on Green St

Shame on the Mayor, Ward Councillor, former Councillor, and Community Development Director.
Public letters from officials were shared with us today by an anonymous person.

Considering an HUGE neighborhood opposition exists with petitions of 97% of the signatories living in the ward, Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and Ward 4 Councillor Colucci AND Community Development Director Jamie Marsh sent letters of support to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a project consisting of 5-6 units to be on a 1-2 unit lot on Green St.   Following are the Mayor's and Marsh's letter.  Colucci's letter will be uploaded as soon as received.

When do people in a neighborhood matter?

Does the Mayor understand the laws of the land?  In the Mayor's letter of support, she is citing to heavily rely on views expressed in a 2007 approval.   Excuse me, wasn't the 2007 approval illegal, in noncompliance with zoning use regulations?

The next hearing, which shouldn't be even hearing is at the ZBAthis Tuesday Oct. 1 at 6:30pm, Rm. 301, Lynn City Hall.

Show me the money!

"True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country." - Kurt Vonnegut

I don't see any American dream; I see an American nightmare.

Sometimes popular kids are drawn by peer pressure, drugs;  in the adult world illuminate wannabes form a secret society like the one responsible for the development of the cultural operating system behind every decision you have ever made in your entire life.  And now they are telling YOU how to vote.

Let's look at who is endorsing who for local elections and possibly why.

The North Shore Labor Council
(Teacher's, Police and Fire Unions) is endorsing the following candidates:

Lynn School Committee
Maria Carrasco
Donna Coppola
John Ford
Charlie Gallo
Lorraine Gately (former teacher)

Councillor at large
Buzzy Barton (former teacher, fireman)
Dan Cahill
Brendan Crighton
Miguel Funez
Hong Net

Lining up the council and school committee for conformism?  I bet these preferred candidates are the least likely to argue with their top preferred candidate Mayor Kennedy.  School Committee candidates didn't offer to correct the lies pumped out behind the Marshall Middle School.  Look at the recent computer scandal.  Cahill, Net, Crighton, Barton voted to not subpoena the Mayor's IT consultant to figure out the facts.  Funez?  Isn't he a Kennedy follower mirroring Solimine's goals for just business in this city?

Are the unions shooting themselves in the foot spreading the votes among their preferred candidates for the Nov election?   Many voters might weigh the power of numbers in reverse psychology to return balance to the voting system; and in the reverse might bullet vote a candidate they would like to see elected not necessarily by following the union's preferred list to line up the council?  Just a theory.

What do Illuminati wannabes have to do with Lynn Elections?

What do the Illuminati do?
Oh, you know, conspiracy stuff. Assassinations (not here/ only Abuse of Authority), manipulation, tax money cheating, nonprofit pyramid schemes, halftime shows. All executed through puppet institutions and groups following bobble head politicians, the Freemasons, and cool showtime performers. And all carefully controlled and hidden to ensure that their meddling in world affairs will remain secret.

What's the end goal of the Illuminati?
The end goal of the Illuminati is to establish a one-world authoritarian government known as the New World Order.

...and then?
Here, theories differ. Some of the internet's finest minds, writing on scholarly websites like Yahoo Answers, believe that the first order of business will be to round all non-Illuminati up into FEMA camps, possibly as part of a deal struck with aliens. Many, if not most, experts believe that the New World Order will be a front for the rise of the Antichrist.

The Antichrist?
Yes. The Illuminati not the brainwashed soldiers are made up of Satanists.

Satanists? Maybe an extremist point of view but simply
defined as selfish opportunists living for personal gain by following the money......

Sub-commentary

"Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God". Benjamin Franklin's seal
echoes the Declaration of Independence:

"We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. . . whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Circles of acquaintance: Clancy, Solimine, Kennedy & nonprofits

Why do two different corporations have nearly identical names, one being a profit and one a nonprofit?

And why is Edward, Clancy Jr. a Board of Director in both of Solimine's nonprofit corps as Solimine is a keen supporter to Mayor Kennedy?  Is Kennedy aware of the connections or is everyone one big happy family?  Show me your friends?

Mayor candidates duel who misused power & money

The Daily Item did an excellent write-up of the facts around the missing council computer returned by a mayoral consultant.   Kennedy comes forth to say she thought the computer could have been misused for campaigning by an employee, yet in her actions to retrieve the computer she expended resources of the Commonwealth in what Phelan calls 'an Abuse of Power'.  “She is not above the law. She’s on a fishing expedition with no concrete knowledge,” he said.

While Kennedy was fishing to find evidence unsuccessfully on her opponent, Kennedy herself enacted on probable offenses.

The Item story   http://www.itemlive.com/news/kennedy-phelan-feud-over-computer/article_c6f63e5c-271e-11e3-9464-001a4bcf887a.html

In pre-yesterday's news, the Mayor said the computer was confiscated for fear of a virus.  Which story is it?

Massachusetts General Laws of the land
Chapter 29: Section 63. Unlawful exercise or departments abuse of power; commonwealth, commissions, officers, etc.; court restraint
Section 63. If a department, commission, board, officer, employee or agent of the commonwealth is about to expend money or incur obligations purporting to bind the commonwealth for any purpose or object or in any manner other than that for and in which such department, commission, board, officer, employee or agent has the legal and constitutional right and power to expend money or incur obligations, the supreme judicial or superior court may, upon the petition of not less than 24 taxable inhabitants of the commonwealth, not more than 6 of whom shall be from any 1 county, determine the same in equity, and may, before the final determination of the cause, restrain the unlawful exercise or abuse of such right and power.

6 Candidates under Investigation?

Candidate for a Ward 4 council seat Ariana Murrell-Rosario objected to 6 candidates' nomination papers.  Her intentions were probably not after the candidates themselves but to attack the ethics of the Election Department and question what else is being done to favor certain parties in elections?

According to Murrell-Rosario, candidates for councillor at large Paul Crowley, Brendan Crighton, ward councillor candidates William Trahant, Richard Collucci, Darren Cyr and School Committee member Richard Starbard had something fishy about their nomination papers.   Each candidate is required to have papers officially notarized but when candidate Murrel-Rosario had asked to inspect all nomination papers, she found 6 candidates without a notary stamp.  Soon after challenging her opponent Collucci's papers, something all the sudden happened in the Election Department.  According to Arianna the notaries surprisingly appeared on those candidates' forms that were missing after submission.

Any hoot, Murrell-Rosario took the case to superior court.  City of Lynn Attorney Lamanna informed the court that this case would hurt the Lynn Primary Elections, since the absentee ballot was released and votes had already been received.   The Judge in deciding to not ruin the primary elections, dismissed the case but investigations continue.  Will this affect the final elections come November 5th?

Candidate for councillor at large Robert Clay Walsh was asked to appear as a witness for the case.

Ah the uprise.  Everyone's favorite candidate was being questioned, and Ariana was questioned for challenging the public's nominations, but when State Rep Fennel began questioning his opponent's Gardi Jean-Francios nomination papers before hand, no one questioned Fennel for doing it.

Stanley Wotring, Candidate for School Committee

Questions, Questions

Lets begin with Stanley.  I wont speak much about Stanley since he does that well on his own in the blog lynnschoolwatch.blogspot.com

but has the Lynn Teacher's Union really honestly considered what Stanley has said?  Where is his support?  Or is the union being manipulated by someone above the group who likes Control?  Manipulated by someone who Stanley has questioned?

Let me break this down for everyone.  Stanley has openly advocated for the best learning in Lynn PUBLIC Schools, and has pretty much lashed out against Lynn Charter Schools.  As y'all know,  teachers unions across the country dislike charter schools because they are non-union, competitive with unequal advantages and so-forth.   So why hasn't the Teacher's Union supported Stanley Wotring as opposed to other candidates who support charter schools?  Has he grabbed the attention?  Know your candidate before being told how to vote.

Land of opportunity for some, retreat for others

Was Phelan misinformed when he announced at the debate the land for development off Rt. 1 is ready for the right developer?  Queuing in Kennedy did not correct Phelan to say the land is part of Lynn Woods Reservation, said she is 'holding out for a better offer, because the real estate value is low'.  Is she kidding us or is really planning to sell out part of Lynn Woods?   Never will this happen.

Many may not remember this, but was is not Councillor Benson, the first woman councillor in Lynn to have prevented Rt. 95 from crossing Lynn Woods?   There is a purpose the land off Rt. 1 in Lynnfield has remained undeveloped in all these years.   This lot seals further acres of land from development around Lynn Woods.

PR

Bang-up performance at The Veterans Appreciation Day Parade!   We love and thank each one of our soldiers for their great service!

Was that great PR for the community or more so for Solimine, the organizer?

Will zombies wake if issues rise?  Remember what our soldiers fought for in the end.

The Jackson-City Duet

It not only happens that Corey Jackson, Director of Arts after Hours in Lynn/  blogger of downtownlynn.blogspot.com/  has made plays in theater, though The City of Lynn is making their very own best performances.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Catherine Latham appointed Sarah Jackson, Corey's wife to a position and the School Committee unanimously approved her appointment to a one-year consulting contact.  Jackson was formally introduced at a School Committee meeting.  School Committee member Charlie Gallo said he proposed the new position.

Fantastic new job creation, but where was the public announcement for the bid?

http://www.lynnjournal.com/2013/03/05/sarah-jackson-named-coordinator-of-private-partnerships-for-lynn-schools/

Corey Jackson in his popular blog was vocal in the past in pushing Judy Kennedy for Mayor.  Water over the dam?

Jackson in 2009 wrote   'Big challenging road ahead, but this mayor is going to take us with her down that road, and that is going to make all the difference.'    Literally?

The Bullet Vote

In the final election the bullet vote may not really matter, so why are some wasting all their votes?

Is it that special interest groups are manipulating the polls or is it the candidates themselves or community leaders who are manipulating the voters?

In the City of Lynn Elections, there are two races where voters can select multiple candidates.
In the School Committee election there are 6 candidate choices. In the Councillor at large race there are 4 choices.

A bullet vote is when a voter chooses to select only one candidate, not using all their possible votes.
This method gives a vote to their favorite candidate while leaving other candidates behind in the race.

Question is, who would give up the right to all their votes and why?
Special interest groups like city unions, ethnic or minority groups or other organizations probably instruct their followers to vote for one candidate.  This is often done to address interests special to them, but does not help vote for the candidates who will address city wide issues.

The Sept 17 Primary is the best time to see the face of the political machine in action.
These are the results, but are they telling who will win in the final?

In the Primary election there was a yes/no vote on the ballot whether or not to bond $92 million dollars for the Marshall Middle School.  The Teachers Union attendance at the polls was probably well organized, therefore votes for candidates who had a strong support for the bond like Ford, Starbard, Carrasco, Cappola, Capano, Gately and Gallo were higher than others.  There was an even spread among these candidates.   Neighbor to Neighbor a minority group and other organizations pushed the vote for Carrasco and Romaniello.  Correction- Romaniello is not a minority but good friends with the group's organizer.

The same bullet vote may have occurred in the councillor at large race, but it was a little more interesting since the top vote collector Buzzy Barton, a former fireman and teacher displayed the poorest performance in the debates and skipped a couple of them. It maybe safe to assume the unions bullet voted here. Next is Crighton. The organized democratic party probably pushed for this candidate since Crighton works for McGee as chief of staff.  Crighton already makes a paycheck working on Lynn issues, so will another pay offer more?  Then there is Hong Net, who works for the state but has no strong political power. Most of Net's ethnic community probably gave Net a bullet vote. Neighbor to neighbor pushed the minorities Net and Funez who did well himself.

In the mayor's race, there is no bullet vote, because one must choose one candidate.  However, since it is believed the unions are the ones who went to the primaries, this explains why the candidate who came out the strongest was Mayor Judy Kennedy.  The finals might give a different result.

Unless the new comers chime with political games, the incumbents could remain in office unless more of the community goes to vote at the polls.   The next election is November 5th.

One last question!  Do you think the candidates will come through on their promises after elections, or are just using the people until they are through??

Kennedy's financials and Solimine?

Mayor Kennedy's financials can be viewed here -
http://www.ci.lynn.ma.us/cityhall_documents/clerk_elections/campagin_finance/2013/Kennedy,%20Judith%20Flanagan%20-%20Mayor%20-%2009-02-2013.pdf

There is no mention of contributions by David Solimine Jr or the Solimine family to Judy's campaign.  No mention of any in-kind contributions.  No mention of the headquarter's lease expense.

In fact,  Judy's headquarter on Chestnut St is in Solimine's building.

In fact, the Solimine family hosted a re-election fundraiser at Lucia Design for the Mayor.

The only facts we might not find are all the contributions listed in the campaign finance report and property record for the campaign headquarter.
